OUR STORY
THE HOUSE
N.A Studio was born from a deep desire to design garments and home pieces that tell a story — a story of craftsmanship, creativity, and purpose.
Adorning fabric and spaces is what we do, and what we love. Quite simply, it is our passion.
Each piece is shaped by the hand of man, with heart in the work, century-old gestures, and a desire to do – and to do well.
THE WOMAN
Noran Ageel is a Libyan womenswear and textiles designer who grew up in Cairo and later pursued her studies in Paris at Parsons School of Design. Living in Paris during her studies, Noran had the opportunity to learn from and work with numerous brands in Paris including CARTIER, CHANEL, VANESSA BRUNO amongst others. She is a designer who paints with fabric and thread, crafting womenswear and homeware that sing with colour, prints, and storytelling. In 2024, after returning to Cairo and re-exploring the diverse craftsmanship and savoir-faire this rich and authentic city has to offer, Noran founded N.A Studio.
The studio serves as a canvas for her love of the magical world of textiles, alongside a deep appreciation for heritage hand-made craftsmanship and artisanal traditions.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We have strict standards when it comes to what we produce and we never compromise on quality and the experience of shopping with us. This is especially true when it comes to the first-rate materials we use. Being that we are a brand based in Egypt, we take pride in the exposure we have to be able to work with leading textiles manufacturers that specialise in natural fibres including pure cotton and the highest quality Linens. The history of Egyptian textiles is as rich and diverse as the history of the country itself. The pharaohs used linen to make clothes, bedding, medical lace and even shrouds, cementing its status as a valuable commodity. 100% pure Egyptian cotton for decades has been widely considered to be the finest cotton in the world, known for its luxurious feel, long fibres, and high-quality weave.
At N.A Studio we are committed to supporting regional heritage craftsmanship and the endless beauty of creating with mans hand. Honoring stories of traditions and very, very old techniques, for the love of a job well done and the poetry of handmade beautiful imperfections.
